Last week, I had the oppertunity to attend and photogrpah my first Rememberance Day Ceremony in Toronto. It has been a while since I've attended.
Earlier in life, I spent my evenings as an Air Cadet in Ottawa's 632 Pheonix Telesat squadren. One of our main duties was to attend and participate in the local Rememberance Day parrade. It's not something I always enjoyed (Mostly because of the cold frigid tempratures, but it's something look back on with fond memories.
This year was different: I attended not only as a civilian, but as a member of the local media. It's a different kind of experience, but humbling nonetheless.
